We had a wonderful romantic escape at this motel. the location was very convenient, just a short walk from the historic harbour area. the room had good lighting, which was a bonus as we love to read. the beds were comfortable and the room was clean, ensuring a comfortable stay throughout our trip. We also appreciated the friendly and helpful service from the staff, who made us feel welcome and attended to our needs.
There were a few aspects that were not as favorable. the room was on the smaller side, which meant we had to put our luggage on the floor.

Chilled-out base for a city trip in Oamaru! Set within 10 minutes' walk of the bus stop. We had no problems with free WiFi. Honestly nothing too much trouble

The views were nice. It is an old hospital and was remodeled really nice. The staff was very helpful and nice.
When I arrived, they raised the price from what your website said I had booked it for. They said the price I was given was for two people, but the confirmation you sent me said four people. They raised the price around $60.00 total>

Location was fine. Nice en suite bathroom.
Beds were hard rather than just firm. T.V. was set for Asian channels - no english. We weren't told we could use kitchen/dining area.

The motel had excellent views of both the rural surroundings and the city. The recently refurbished rooms felt like a 5-star hotel, with wide corridors and beautiful furniture and decor. The bathroom was gorgeous, clean, and modern. The managers, Simon and Gavina, were pleasant and accommodating. The hotel provided good wifi and had a dining area with appliances for guests to make their own dinner, which was very convenient.
Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

View from Window. Room was clean, and newly refurbished.
No Wireless Internet in room, had to transfer to a room close to office, and shift all our stuff. No room in first room to even lay out cases on floor No Milk in fridge, and wasn't offered any. Went to reception at 6.30am, no one there, so went without. Car was off street, but not really happy with location or area of park.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel's value for money. For the price, the room was clean, comfortable, and had all the facilities required - a decent TV, fridge. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our check-in easy and enjoyable. The location, high on a hill at the back of town, provided beautiful views overlooking the houses and the ocean. It was a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing stay.
All was well during my stay.

The view was nice
As a family with young children we would not stay or recommend this motel at all. We did not realise it was a it was a ghost site of a hospital we were staying at but frankly if was like it was out of a horror movie and freezing cold!!!! Woke up early because it was so cold and couldn't wait to get out of there and move to a new place. Sorry would rate it a 2/10 worst yet on our 5 week holiday.

We recently spent our Christmas at a motel in Oamaru and overall, we had a satisfactory experience. The rooms were quite modern and clean, which was a big plus. the staff were very courteous and the check-in process was easy. We also appreciated the fact that the motel was located in a quiet part of town, so we didn't have to deal with much traffic noise.
There were a few negative aspects of our stay. the beds were quite hard and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
